Donations


Donations are accepted for meeting the daily expenses of Chitra Home. You may send Money Order to the Superintendent or Draw DD or Cheque in favour of ( Account title, Account No.Name of Bank, Branch Address). All the donations are excempted from income tax. Government receipt will be issued to the parties.

Offset Press
Sri Chitra Home have a printing Unit with the very old machinery,we get orders for printing from the Health Department and for packing from the PSC, PRD etc.The Printing unit is one of the major source of our income too. Hence we are greatly in need of an offset press, for which donationas are seeking..

Sri Chitra Home Vehicles
Sri Chitra Home have two vehicles, a mini bus and a tempo. Both are very old and requires replacement. As we have the band Troupe, Balae and dance troupe, vehicles are our immediate need.The existing vehicles are proposed to be replaced with new ones for which generous and kind donations are seeking.

Marriage Fund
Marriage at Chitra Home are conducted with the help of sponsors. Financial help is needed to form a Marriage Fund.

Educational Fund
Of the 325 inmates, half are school students. Expenses for uniform, book and others are very high at present. We need financial assistance for this.

Day to Day Expenses
For the day to day expenses of 325 inmates such as food, clothes educational expenses, vocational expenses, food and nutritional expenses are also high at present.These expenses are met at present from the Government Grant and also from the public contribution. These expenses are at present met from the Government and also the contribution from public. More donations are much essential for maintaining and starting new ventures.
